This type design would be incredibly fake in the flatlands of the Louisiana delta. Hopefully the design would resemble Harbor Town marsh if near a wetland area.

That said people aren’t moving to this area so the odds are stacked against this development.

If the investors can bribe the state and get a casino license for an upscale hotel like the Greenbrier, and expand to hunting, fishing, shooting, equestrian, etc. it could be a mass destination experience.

While i don't disagree it would he unlike the natural landscape, i dont think many people are running to louisiana for the flat golf coures with absolutely no character. Something out of character might be better.

That’s why the bluffs and squire stand out amongst courses in LA.

David Toms with Jim Lipe would be far an away the best bet to have something truly special in LA. IF they were turned loose on the Bluffs, I think it would shoot up the best of list not only in LA but the south.

So many good architects, I wouldn't limit yourself to people with LA connections.
