Odd topic. I know. But I always forget which pocket has what in it and drive myself crazy trying to find what I need while some foursome is waiting.

Do you have a particular setup for your golf bag that helps remember what is in what?

Do you have a specific pocket that you always use for certain items.

Is there a reason for it.

Added bonus topic:
Do you have ant accessories or talisman that you carry that you never use.

Me: I have all these random strings I’ve found over the years I use as string pulls on most of my zippers.

I definitely organize. Each section of the bag has specific clubs in it and I can tell you exactly what’s in each pocket. I thought that was pretty common.

Yeah, it’s so I’m not driving myself crazy finding what I need while a foursome is waiting. The shite some of you ask about is unreal

Figure if people are in Tigerdroppings. They are bored.

What is wrong with starting a friendly discussion and asking for advice on how you remember what is in each pocket.

Sorry to get in the way of yet another PGA vs LIV thread.

I’ve never had anything more than 4 dividers (OG Hoofer layout). Top, closest to bag strap, is for woods and putter, left divider has 6-8, right has 3-5, and bottom has two wedges-9

It’s been that was since my first golf bag.

I’m pretty simple with my bag setup. I have a divider with the clubs always in the same location. Wedges have a spot, 9-7, have a spot, 6-4 have a spot, 3 wood & driver in a spot. Putter in a spot. Towel gets draped around the wedges, rangefinder clipped on bag.

In one pocket I have balls, another tees, and then a pocket for my keys and wallet if I’m walking. I have a Jones bag which also has an insulated pocket where I throw water or powerade.

Nothing else goes in my bag. I’m not a big golf gadget person as I feel like I spend the entire round making sure I didn’t lose anything.

14 way stand bag so club organization is easy. Tees in one pocket, ballmarkers/divot tool in another. Obviously golf balls in their own.

Left side pocket has gloves. Largest right side pocket has rain hood, extra towel, and a bag of meds/bandaids/etc

I need to organize it better.
In fact, I’ll admit it’s disorganized on a good day and chaotic at times.

I’ll look at this thread for ideas.

Balls, tees, glove. They can all go in the same big arse pocket on the front. Wtf else do you need on a hole to hole basis?

This is why rounds take 4 hours

Good topic and it speaks to the kind of golf bags that you are comfortable with.

It's one of the main reasons that I stay with the Ping Hoofer stand bags.

I'm just use to them. I have a pouch that I keep my divot tool and ball markers it, etc..

Another pocket for sunglasses, etc..

The biting gnats are showing up now, so I put my bottle of Asorbine Jr back in the bag.

If you haven't used it before, rub some under the bill of your cap and it will keep the gnats away from your face. I put some on the back of my neck as well.

I also keep a package of Dude Wipes in my truck to wipe of my face , etc.. after the round.

I’ll need to try this. Thank you for tip.
