Fix the TV broadcast ideas

I was going to put this in the CBS thread, but felt it was going to get buried.
What would you like to see out of the broadcast?
-more player caddie talk
-more irons into greens and longer shots. Less tap in putts
-fox tracer stuff on every shot
-watch every group like the Masters.
I know some of those are cost prohibitive, but it's my dream world.
I'd also like a one or two hour recap posted on YouTube that I can watch as a replay. Give me the real highlights with limited commercial breaks and less down time.

All great suggestions - Fox definitely has the right idea on some of these, which was refreshing to see.

LOVE hearing the caddy / player discussion.
More irons into greens is a whole other discussion.
Tracer is very cool tech.
I think it will all go to streaming services / subscriptions in 5-10 years.

Why we did not see the topped shot on 10 last weekend from a guy that coulda won the tournament is beyond disbelief.
The networks have not migrated to what we want.
There has to be DFS and bet considerations with golf broadcasts. And there has to be more golf shots - I don’t care about the analysis, etc. show me the course, conditions and shots.
You have guys that are fighting for top 20 and top 10 and sometimes their face never appears on a 4 hour broadcast.
I think PGATL does a good job but I hate the NBC golf platform.
This changes at CBS are only the start - they have to adapt to a new viewer and viewer demands.

I just want the ability to choose which groups to watch....especially if I'm paying for the NBC Sports gold. I want to be able to pick one group and watch that group the entire round, every single shot

This. They have come a long way with playing through commercials but there should never be a shot of Nance and Faldo or whoever is on the call while golf is going on. I know they have to do the corporate bullshite every week but at least show golf while you have the CEO up there telling us how charitable they are and how much their foundation means to them when we all know its just ad time.

The Pete Kostis interview on no laying up podcast talks a lot about how shot tracer in every shot just isn’t economically feasible. He also talks about how the reason we miss a lot of stuff is budget cuts. Camera men don’t know where to be to get the best shot. It all boils down to money. Would love to have all the top 6 golfers in the hunt be mic’d up with the caddie.

I would ADD the cross-section view of the green graphics to better appreciate the difficulty of some.
I would CUT showing every shot of Tiger, especially when he is out of contention.
ADD some coverage of the players around the clubhouse, putting green and driving range. Give a little more history about some of the clubs.
ADD some details about the actual equipment used by the pros.

I, for one, would like to see some more commercials. There aren't enough of those.
