Made it to Austin and pumped to take my 5 handicap to the course and fire a crowd pleasing 84.

Going after MileHigh’s secret prize.

You're gonna have to do way better (worse) than that.

Would love to know how today’s round went. And what Hou thought of the course

Jekyll and Hyde was an accurate rep of the front and back. Both open and very tight depending on which 9. Greens were rolling good. Fun course!

You think you’re going for the prize with an 84?

I figured 84 with a 5 handicap could get me close. I’m just hoping not to pull a tin cup on the range with these new irons.

Are there a lot of doglegs? 6,100 yards seems pretty short

It’s short. Driveable par 4s even w a 3 wood if you’re a longer hitter. Not as many doglegs as you’d think but they’re very severe. Can’t just bomb and gouge unless you really want to risk it w OB in play.

Pops hammers it about 200 off the tee these days. He may have a field day if I can't riparoo on a bunch of holes.

Realistically I haven’t played since June or so. It was too hot this summer around here and I just didn’t want to do it.

But last time I had two stretches of 3 holes with pars in the middle of the round. Will see how they are flying tomorrow

Does your club make you wear a shooting sleeve to cover up your tattoo(s?)
