As big as F1. Which is niche even on world stage and almost every team in F1 is worth over a billion dollars (lowest is Williams at 700m)

F1 pulls as many fans in person each weekend as LIV is currently getting in TV viewers. They have a long way to go to get to where F1 is. The cheapest F1 team has been around for 50 years and won 7 championships, how long will it take for 4Aces or Fireballs to build up enough brand equity to compete with that?

Also, most of the names they chose for teams are stupid, I would never wear a Rangegoats Majesticks shirt.

Saying that there are details that we don’t know… like another transaction with 4 Aces… isn’t talking out of your arse.

I’m saying the trade probably makes sense to Bubba Watson. Quit asking me to make sense of it

Statement from Captain Bubba Watson:
"We’re excited to have Matthew Wolff and Peter Uihlein join RangeGoats GC. They are both very talented players and good people that I have gotten to know better since joining LIV. They are also close friends. When we realized it was possible to get both Matt and Peter via separate transactions, we felt it could be a good long-term move for the RangeGoats, both on and off the course. The only bad thing is, I might be the shortest hitter on the team."

Yeh, it’s a clown show man. They made the trade because Kopeka didn’t want Wolff and bubba didn’t care to give away the league winner

You can have your own opinions, but it’s Bubba’s team. You can understand why he made the move.

He traded away his 2 best players, but he thinks he made the team stronger. Brings in two guys from Oklahoma State that both live in Jupiter

Updates as of 12/7

6 spots left & the LIV Promotions event begins tomorrow to fill 3 spots. Andy Ogletree has also already earned his spot, so 2 spots remaining.

Still rumors out there about Rahm potentially signing & starting a 13th team.

There’s no way you or anyone actually believes this.

The team aspect of LIV is so dumb and this is even more comical.

Well, guess you’ll have to watch this season & see how it works out for each team.

4Aces was #1 last year
Rangegoats were #4
Smash was #8

I agree but, let get real. There has been absolutely ZERO indication thus far that the PGA and Monahan want to play fair at the negotiation table to unite the talent pool.

All we’ve heard from leaks (and his frick boy Rory) is that they’re going to dismantle LIV as their first priority. Well.. maybe that didn’t land well with the leader of a 200 billion dollar slush fund who started the league from scratch.

Then there’s the continued monopoly of OWGR points. Tiger’s no cut, 20 man exhibition tournament received more points than the Australian Open. Also, they continue to penalize PGAT members wanting to participate in the LIV qualifying event.

If you want this to end, the PGAT has to incorporate LIV in some way to the regular schedule. If not, you can cry all you want but there will be a US Tour and a Global Tour and the players will be split on each for the foreseeable future.

This was as never as simple as PGAT fanboys made it out to be. “Saudi Arabia just wants to pay their way in for influence in the game of golf” Well, I think they have already by now and I think it may be a better run organization by the end of the decade if this continues

No you can’t. If the Chargers traded Justin Herbert for Mac Jones, and then Keenan Allen for Jerry Jeudy because Jones and Jeudy went to Alabama, everyone would be talking about what morons the Chargers were and how it’s the worst trade in NFL history. You’re allowed to criticize something in a league you like. But also, that would never happen, because the NFL is a serious league.

The Russell Wilson for Drew Lock example also makes zero sense because you knew the entirety of the trade when it happened. Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, and then 2 firsts and 2 seconds were also given to the Seahawks and that was known at the time of the trade.

the PGA is propping up and paying the most money to a guy with one leg who barely plays and an over the hill player who hasn't won a major in a decade. Tiger moved up over 400 spots in the OWGR for finishing 18/20 in a limited field tournament in the Bahamas.

Think about those facts before trying to paint the PGA as some pure bastion of competition.

I think most people, even fans of the PGA Tour will tell you it’s dumb the Hero gets world ranking points. As opposed to LIV, where nothing is allowed to be criticized.

Not quite. Having watched LIV, non-biased fans know there needs to be fundamental changes to the format including some sort of cut (at the very least to create more intrigue during play) and a more thorough qualification event to make it obvious to OWGR to earn points.

However, that doesn’t take away that the PGA and OWGR are in cahoots. It’s a monopoly to keep LIV from being on a level playing field. The Hero World Challenge is the biggest slap in the face yet. If that bullshite exhibition gets points, there’s NO reason LIV should be excluded if they make even the slightest adjustments to their rules/regulations

It took the Hero 7 years to start getting points.
