Yep, Phil lost his arse gambling and needed a way to pay off his debts. He tried to strong arm the PGA before running off to LIV.

What a legitimately meaningful round of Friday golf for Brooks to make the cut. Those last 9 holes had his attention.

Wonder how often he was that focused on a second round while in the middle of the pack at LIV….it’s almost like that is the sort of thing that would help one prepare for majors and big events and the grind of the season

He still rocking the tellurium?

Very good to have him back.

The tour would be absolutely fire right now if they could just blow this other thing up. Dominos are already falling.

I don’t see much chatter about it but the PGA tour’s deadline for Rahm, Bryson, and Cam Smith to apply to return is Monday. I know what they all said about it… but I still wouldn’t be surprised to see Rahm and Bryson return.

Just sucks of what LIV robbed us golf fans of the past four years. LIV was the wordt thing to happen to professional golf.

I’d argue it’s a net positive long term for creating big money and shaking the PGA up. Change was needed badly. And trust me, I think LIV is a completely loser idea and brand.

Much as I hated losing a lot of guys, the only real losses are Rahm and Bryson and they’ve played all the majors. Brooks too but he never did shite in the regular schedule anyway.

Get Rahm, Reed and Bryson back and we’re good.

I love Cam but that dude dgaf about golf.

This was the best story line of the weekend. Wish he could have held 2nd.

The tour is such a ball kicking grind. Dahmen has game out the arse and is about as average as it gets on tour. Just crazy. He hit some ridiculous iron shots that even had Rosey clapping.

I saw another interview clip where they were pressing him on how much Sunday means to him and he was like “it’s just golf Jim”.

Sad he and Geno parted ways but guess you’ve gotta do something after his last 2 seasons.

Yeah, I was more interested in seeing if he could hold onto second than watching Rose. I actually hadn't kept up that he parted ways with his caddie last year. Makes sense that he may not be holding himself accountable as much with a friend vs. a neutral "business partner" type caddie.

You think smaller fields and private equity are going to be good long term?

It's amazing how the PGA Bros exempted Koepka from joining LIV and treat him as a conquering hero when he returns.

Any one that left for LIV: traitor, trash, BLOOD MONEY

Brooks: we love this guy, let;s put him in the featured group. What an amazing 59th place finish

Also, this is why LIV just doesn’t make sense for the Pro Golf world as it relates to realistically ranking them

Well & the fact that LIV only had 54 players playing in it

I’m curious to see how OWGR handles the points for LIV events bc I agree you shouldn’t be getting pts for coming in 47th. Should be top 24 for points or something
