Any recs on a particular set to start? Not looking for custom fit blades. Don’t want to break the bank.

Check out US Kids Golf. Great starter sets at a good price, you can add clubs and get really good deals on them.

If those are too steep check out Amazon, you can find sets on there as well

Best set to start with is US Kids Ultralight. Go used on eBay or used from the site.

Once 9-10ish depending on strength and ability, you upgrade to either US Kids Tour Series or Flynn.

My wife, no pics, had a set of Titleist that I bought for her when she was playing a little golf. She quit playing and I cut a 3, 5, 7, 9, W, down and regripped for one of my grandsons. Measured the U.S. kids clubs at a golf store for his height and cut accordingly. Was a good starter set for him.

Yea that’s why I said do used. They have a used section on their site, or purchase through eBay.

Also your 7 year old won’t need a full set.

If it were me, I’d buy a used and just get driver (gonna spend the most here), 7 iron, 9i, sand wedge, putter.

That’s all he needs for now

Take him out of school and train full time.

J/k, the US kids clubs are good and have some resale value.

Went on golf avenue and got my 6year old a “used” set of Wilson kids clubs. Still had the shrink wrap on em and were under $200.

I’ve said this before - get used starter set and double the investment in individual lessons with the top teacher in area regardless of cost…. When ready for full set get LINK

100% US Kids, fit him by height, do not fit larger to save money.

Full set, as in which clubs? A 7yr old probably needs 4 clubs and a putter. 5i, 7i, 9i and probably a 5W. What does the "full set" include?

We had those when Emerson was 10 - great set and pretty custom - I think the Ping ProdiG has passed them now - but they are a small company and they gave us a great set - the didn’t have a left handed version back then
