My buddy had a driver fitting there a couple of weeks ago. The numbers part of it was fantastic. It dropped his spin down by a lot. The guy working with him was kind of arse though. Oh, and they wanted him to pay $900 for the driver they built.

With club champion be prepared to know if you order through them it will be much more expensive than if you got the components and built yourself.

I paid for the information and the numbers I got along with trying shafts in my particular specs. I was not going to shell out $500 for a shaft that they "pure" when I can get it on ebay for half of that.

But some people dont mind paying those prices to get the club in the exact specs they need and not go through the trouble of tracking down all the components.

The experience is great. You're very likely to find a head/shaft combo that works very well for you. But everyone else is also correct, you're going to pay for it if you buy from them.

Who are you scheduled with? The fitter matters.

Club Champiom is al a carte. So even brands that offer certain shafts as stock but they charge full retail for. It depends on what you get. But Nick over there and Casey for that fact are really solid dudes. Just don’t be dead set ok making a purchase and see what they fit you in. Then do your research after.

Were you given a fair price to purchase from them?

Nick is really solid. I just bought my second set of irons in the last 6 months. Went and got fitted last week when the new T100 dropped. They told me the best thing to do would be to buy directly from the manufacturer and bring to them to have them built it to Spec. Honestly, you can’t ask for more than that out of a fitter.

Had a driver fitting with him couple months ago, great experience. He couldn't find a combo that was much better than what I'm currently hitting, so he waived the fitting fee. Scheduled a 3 wood fitting the next week and got me in a Titleist tsi3. Enjoyed it both times, and respected that he didn't try to push a driver on me when it wasn't needed.

Fusco is VERY solid. No ego and he’ll work to provide what is best for your swing.

What’s their charge if you bring a broken club back to them?

I’m not a fan of the adapters and sledge hammer swingweight they fit into, they also couldn’t find a combo to beat my older driver at the time.

I’ve had manufacturers tell me they can’t replace a shaft because it was purchased at club champion
I was wondering if they charge for repairs that should be warrantied.

Update: he fitted me into a MB Tensei White CK Pro 60 shaft. He absolutely did not attempt to pressure me into a new driver. Great guy!

I purchased a Scotty Cameron blade awhile back and brought it to club champion to have it tweaked etc. Money well spent.
