Has anyone played Carter lately? What kind of shape is it in?

Perfect and $95 sounds like a bargain. Now 5 and a half hour round brings it down if that is still the case

Played it in February (President's Day) and was very disappointed. Greens were fast, but no grass and putts bounced, bobbled and wobbled on every green. Good thing it was a Monday and was only $60. But I don't need to make that drive back there for that.

The 5.5 hour bullshite is so overplayed and silly.

I teed off on a Saturday amonth ago around 9:15 with a buddy. We were paired with another twosome. They weren’t very good but played fast and picked up at triple and we finished in 4.5 and only waited on 2-3 holes and it wasn’t long.

I find that 4:30 is a long round for 4 people or less. That’s lots of waiting for me.

I’ve gotten to the point even 4 hour rounds feel painful

Well Pelican Point, Copper Mill and Beaver Creek had it figured out in February. And none of those cost nearly as much as Carter.

I haven’t played there since they went up on greens fees. Which is sad because I love this course and live very close to it. But almost $100 there is such a stretch. I’m not sure what they are thinking. Don’t know if they have seen impacts in number of players which has helped with the infamous 5 hr weekends, but that’s a price point that I’m willing to drive somewhere else for.

It’s not that long ago that you could get on for about $40 pretty regularly with some of the golf apps and twilight rates.

They’re thinking they can drive enough players away, like they did to you, to help reduce traffic.
