Just watched the interview. After all the uproar I’ve read I was expecting something egregiously bad, but after seeing it I realized it was just a bunch of people who already dislike Brooks getting up in arms about nothing.

Am I the only one that thinks the "Brooks is a D-bag, DeChambeau is a D-bag, Phil is a D-bag," etc...is on par with teenaged girls and their boy band crushes and hates emotion.
I mean seriously, it's professional sports. These people don't affect your lives.
I will admit, that I can be happy for Ricky since he finally ditched the flat bill as a grown-assed man.

quote:Dude it was one of the most cringeworthy, soft interviews I have seen from a pro athlete. The fact he tries to be an “alpha” or “terminator” type makes it all more pathetic

The guy blamed his play and everything else on favs bumping his knee, and even insinuated it was on purpose

He lost the tournament an hour before he got to #18, and he knew it.

Come on man that was pathetic. I had no reason not to like Koepka before that. I just wasn’t sure who he really was until now. Guy needs a lesson in humility and class.

Prior to this week, I had noticed that the guy is constantly searching for slights. Whether from the media or fellow pros. Did think that much more of it. After that interview, he just took over douchebag number 1 role from Scott Hoch.

The interview was bad, and he should be embarrassed by it, but he definitely didn't say he played bad because of that event. He said his knee was fine all the way up until that point. The interview was terrible enough without putting words in his mouth to make it worse.

I'm pretty neutral on Brooks, but I can't imagine anyone actually being a fan of his.

Says volumes about you doesn’t it?

You would cream your pants before she ever got to the belt buckle my friend. Why do men have the need to bash on women for no reason? You feel more “alpha” doing so posting on an anonymous forum?
Out of the entire world, 6-7/10 is very solid

She’s just not a super model like Instagram makes her out to be.

That's 100% inaccurate. He blamed his loss on shitty putting and complimented Phil on closing it out.

and even insinuated it was on purpose
He said multiple times he didn't know if it was on purpose. He said that it hurts from getting bumped and now "feels like shite!"

He never blamed his knee for anything. He actually said it felt fine until it was knocked into on the last hole.

That I’m not super sensitive about what professional athletes say? Consider me guilty

I can understand that. But I can’t ignore a lack of class by the athletes.
