Nothing I say is going to convince the LIV fans, I’m just pointing out that’s it weird to be pulling for the Saudis to take down the PGA.
The PGA is great for the game of golf. Could they be better? Yes. But I do honestly believe they try to grow the game and do so with sincerity. I don’t know what the Saudis long term motivations are.
The PGA might do some things with the CCP and I definitely don’t agree with that, but it’s a lot different then hoping the CCP takes over professional golf.
whataboutism is never good, but at least make it an accurate comparison

If LIV gets a network deal it’ll morph into a corporatized joke the PGA is. So there are still some hurdles to clear.

Personally the whole things sucks..
I understand the players wanting a huge payday and more time off.
The PGA Tour raises a ton of money for local charities. But some of their rules are arcane.
LIV's telecasts are bush league and need a lot of work.
I'm not fond of the non cut.
I don't know who wins in this.

I am just glad LIV is moving professional golf into a more competitive free market direction. It is going to improve the game no matter who comes out on top. I will say the team aspect of LIV is going to offer more betting opurtunities for the casual sports fan. Seems like a smart move cause a lot of people watch sports just to,bet on them.

Cool. Then go. Hell, I would like to work less for more money too. However, leave it at that. Why go legal to play more? You can’t want to play less, then sue to play more.

I use to love the Tour Championship when it actually meant something.
