re: Calling ALL golfing experts
Obviously a good general value. I would ask what color dot they are and then think about your body type vs the seller. If they’re black dot (standard) and you’re between 5’8 and 6’2, you’re probably fine.

For instance, I myself suck at golf.

But I suck much much less with humble modest cost fitted clubs

Highly, highly doubtful.

What's gimmicky about one of the most popular selling driver and irons of the last couple of years?

I get fitted for my clubs. I've also used a buddies set when I was out of town a couple of times. It didn't make that big a difference.

What if seller is joe rogan midget-sized with tyranisaurus rex arms and and buyer is tall with long arms?

If the dot color is right he can always change out shafts.

I don't play that much any more so I'm not that good, which is kind of the point. I'm currently probably about an 8

Is your buddy Joe Rogan like and you are Gronk like? Or are you both patrick reed clones?

Not ragging on anyone for having retarded body shapes. Just illustrating a point

re: Calling ALL golfing experts
First thing I would do is see what your swing speed is with a 7 iron. If Its in the 80 mph you need stiff don’t do it. If your in the 70mph range it’s a good
Deal

Haha.. Look how far you’ve reversed course and shifted on this topic

It’s almost like I’m doing the fitting

re: Calling ALL golfing experts
this isn't an argument on merits of fitting vs buying off the rack...OP has a great offer on the table for some solid clubs, buy them and if you don't like them sell them for more than you paid for them. pretty simple

So which is it?

And 91 could certainly be x stiff, but you were just trying to peddle expensive after market stuff and move people in and out

You’ve come of salty as hell in this entire thread. Your original point that the clubs may not fit him and make things worse is valid. However, you’ve come of like a douche about it.
