Tournament is a shell of what it was once. Calcutta = big money = corruption. If ya knew the right people ya got flighted accordingly.
Hopefully it turns around and gets better. The last couple of years they have had trouble filling the flights, but then again $5-600 in the luxurious town of Hammond for the weekend may be a turn off.
Good Luck to those of you playing. Howes has the course in great shape I understand.

Went to the Calcutta tonight. Holy shite!! What a sham. The MGA bids your team up because they get a 10% cut.
And, you can't buy half of your team unless the buyer agrees.

Wow. There would be a revolt in the 4ball I play in if that went down. Wouldn’t fly. There will always be the perceived or real sandbagging but we get the flights right for the most part.

This year was my first time playing in it. Heard it was one of the best tournaments around. I would disagree with that statement but all in all a decent tourney. The playing on Sunday in a monsoon was not cool. Made a lot of people mad because there was 2 rain delays and people finished at 8:30. Would play again but wouldn't say it is a tournament you have to hit up
