Watching the replay and I have to say the greens look terrible.
Maybe move the women’s amateur so it’s not back to back.
I do like that the greens are very difficult.

The touch of brown tells me they are going to be hard and fast. Love it.

Maybe Augusta accepting the brown look will help random golf courses not have to be so green.

The burn spots they are everywhere.
The greens are under watered
That’s why they are playing so hard.
I haven’t seen this course play this hard since the 90’s.
I’m not complaining just saying back to back tournaments on bent grass is not a good idea.

The greens are the course's defense against players shooting 20 under as the winning score. Perhaps the green jackets should have Titlest design a ball that doesn't go 350 yards off the tee. That would force the players to play the course as it was originally designed.

Yes, it's supposed to rain over the weekend, but the greens are EXACTLY where they want them to be.

To think ANGC would allow "burnt greens" because they simply forgot or chose not to water is laughable. I mean, it's the most recognizable tournament at the most famous course in the world, with more money than they know what to do with...and some want to say, "Well, they burnt the greens because Jesse forgot to water them" is fricking hilarious.

So are you suggesting AN should change the grass to Bermuda? Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

They look fine in the regular TV coverage. But I just saw a shot from the air and thought to myself Holy Shite these greens look terrible. Looked straight up brown from the air.

Don't judge the condition of the greens by the apparent color from a blimp shot. The players are concerned on how they roll. Are they consistent? I haven't heard or read an article about any players complaining about the greens. Have you?

Hey dork I’ve been there twice.
09 and 10.
Saw Phil go eagle, eagle, and just miss another on 15.
I drank plenty of beers trust me.
