My info comes from the Greens Supt at LeTriomphe who was on staff at Augusta National(he's from Augusta) for 10yrs before moving to the Alotian Golf Club(North of Little Rock ) to be head Supt ...he said that the plan was to remind the players that 20-under will never be the winning score again.

After the Saturday rain, the greens looked noticeably greener and they were slower. The players carved them up after the restart.

To get the speed necessary, the color won’t always look perfect but I’ll take condition over color any day.

Does anybody have any early info on green conditions today? Augusta has got those internal water vacuum things right? Were they able to harden them up again or will they be softer today?

Yes. Augusta has sub air. They will roll as fast as they want them to.
