The tee boxes grass are so long that your ball doesn't even look like its teed up at all. The tees disappear, cut the grass please, everywhere

Played there 2 weeks ago and the tee boxes weren't even mowed to where you could tee the ball up.

Grass was not cut. Tee boxes are so thick and your feet are so deep it really messes with your drive.

Everyone should get one more round in. I've heard rumors that they'll actually be closing it this year. They broke the news to the old farts tournament not long ago.

Where will their traffic go? I assume Webb will get an uptick in traffic if LSU closes.
There was a time not long ago that I thought the idea of closing LSU was blasphemous, but now I say "shut 'er down" since they are obviously not maintaining it properly.
I will miss not having LSU in my rotation, but Pelican Point, Beaver Creek, and Webb all serve their purpose for me.

Played today. It was miserable. Greens were in bad shape. Spent 50% of my round looking for balls that were just off the fairway or green bc the grass is so thick. Can’t find your ball until you step on it. And the marshals just ride around and snag all the lost balls. Worst course I’ve played in the BR area.

Sad to hear. Cut my teeth on the Old Front 9. Wasn’t a huge fan of the 4 new holes... too weird with the extreme dog legs.
