If so what launch monitor did you go with and what kind of space did it require?

I have the original skytrak in the garage. No space requirements since its camera based instead of radar. You can get them pretty cheap used now since they released a new version this year.

I have a bushnell lp with a computer, tv and net. Eventually will do a screen and projector, but need to raise a ceiling first.
Need minimum 9 ft ceiling height, probably 8ish feet from the target for comfortable swing, and 10 feet in width for the same.
Ideally you would have at least 10 foot ceiling height, 12 feet front to back minimum, and 15 feet left to right to accommodate lefties and righties from a central hitting area.
If you use a radar based system, you will need substantially more room front to back.

The Bushnell launch pro is what I think I'd like to go with. Do you do the gold subscription that shows you club data or just the standard package? How does putting work on it?

GC3 - worth the extra $. My setup is in my game room. I can swing all clubs but wish it was bigger. Look up indoor swing syndrome as it’s a real thing.

Read an article on indoor swing syndrome, that is a little worrisome as I'm tall and would only have a 9 foot ceiling.

Need to raise it. 9’ isn’t enough. You’ll be able to swing some clubs but not all.

What mats does everyone have? I was hitting off one for a while and noticed my wrists started to hurt.

I use a rawhide golf mat on concrete and it’s been great. No pain or anything.

Bushnell launch pro unlocked.
It's shares a 16x16 building with a couch, a treadmill, and a home gym. Have another screen that can go in front of the impact screen and it becomes a home theater.
There are a lot of great launch mobitor options out at similar and even cheaper prices.
People say minimum 8 foot ceilings but we went closer to 10-11 to make sure anybody would be comfortable.
Space for the unit and ball flight distance is going to be dependent on what system you buy. Indoor accuracy is another factor.
Generally you need less space for a camera based system like the launch pro than you would need for a radar system. Cameras are also better at measuring spin indoors.

So you have all the courses and no subscription fees? How'd you get an unlocked one and how much more is it than the regular launch pro?

I think I must have this for some reason. Can hit worth a shite indoors on a simulator. It’s very frustrating.

ETA:
For the price, Bushnell is the way to go. GCQuad and Trackman are substantially better but for what it sounds like you are using it for, bushnell is the clear winner.

An unlocked launch pro is basically buying a GC3 but if you buy the unit on sale and get the unlock on sale you can save money vs buying a GC3

So you buy the unlock from Bushnell or is it a hack you buy from someone like an unlocked firestick?
