Anyone know when the application process will begin for 2020 Masters tickets? Masters website says they will update the website in April 2019 but that has come and gone without any notice.

After Tiger won I bet the site crashes when it opens.

I think it is usually some time in May so it should be pretty soon

Usually apply in May and get the rejection letter in late june

I believe they typically send the email to apply around the second week May so it should be pretty soon.

I hear that. Man I have applied just about every year since they started the process and only once did I get tickets, which was a Tuesday practice round. It's a darn hard ticket to get

I’ve won 3 times in 6 years. Tuesday, Wednesday, Wednesday practice rounds.

That's great, but it makes me wonder if an old rumor down here is true. Folks say that they tend to favor people who are from out of town because they are more likely to spend money on motels, meals and such. I don't know if that is really true but you never know.

Opens mid may, closes mid June, results end of june

I've tried to get tickets for 8 consecutive years.
Last year I had 9 family members try as well.
No tickets.

This will be number 8 for me without tickets unless my luck changes.

Wondering if game theory will work.
Is it better to apply for 1, 2, or 4 tickets?

I always apply for the max.
Been twice so far. My dad got practice round tickets in 2013 and I got practice round tickets in 2015. Both times Bubba Watson was the defending champ. If he doesn't win, my hope of getting tickets goes out the window

If I’m gonna go, I kinda want to go for an actual round and not a practice round.
Should I think about it differently?

You should request everyday and hope you get non practice round. Then if you do get practice rounds, sell them to offset the cost for tournament tickets.

Just applied today. Now I'm ready for the annual turn down this summer

Selling it gets you kicked out of the system, doesn’t it?
