Played 2 rounds and practiced twice with the new Rogue Sub Zero. Very impressive. I would say it’s as long or a bit longer than my Epic SZ, and as low spinning... but the major difference is forgiveness. I toed and heeled some yesterday that would have be significant distance loss with my Epic that ended up being pretty good with my Rogue. I really never thought anything could top my Epic and the only reason I got the Rogue is my face cracked and Callaway pretty much let me choose which driver I wanted. **Disclaimer** since I was getting a newer driver for free I decided to upgrade my shaft from Aldila Rogue I/O 60 to Tour AD-GP6. I’m sure that had a hand in tighter dispersion but nevertheless, I think the Rogue SZ is an improvement on an already good driver.

Anybody want to add some equipment reviews of anything they tried recently? NB4SonicKnuckleSandwich

I hit the M3 last week. It’s like a pillow when the ball comes off the face. Definitely gonna make the switch sometime this summer/year.

I cannot day enough good things about my Srixon 565 irons. It’s like playing a different game.

I hit the 917 D3 and didn’t see much of an upgrade from my 913 D3. If the 913 ever breaks ill upgrade but only if I have to.

The new Bridgestone tour B balls are primo.

My ONLY issue with them is durability. I think they’re great balls. I’ve tried a dz of the Blue and a Sleeve of the red. They just aren’t durable. But they’re no doubt a good ball. I’m stuck between the TP5X and the ChromeSoftx. The chrome soft is the most durable ball I’ve ever played and good greenside control. The TP5X is long off the driver and irons.

That’s interesting about the durability because it’s what they’re promoting with the new cover on the ball. Saying it’s the most durable ever.

I haven’t had any durability problems with the new tour B X. I’ve played the same ball for the last 46 holes.

Just put a set of Golf Pride Align MCC Plus Four Grips on my Driver and Irons. Played my first round with them today. I really liked them. The raised rib gives you a feel for where the club face is pointing. Played Audubon and hit a bunch of greens today. My driving was really good too. Will probably finish out my set and put them on my wedges and hybrid as well.

I hit the 440. It was in a regular stiff shaft. I didn’t wanna stand on it, so I just hit it to feel it and put one out there. The second time I hit I decelerated a little and healed it. It was still straight, and went a good 250yds or so. If ya haven’t hit a new driver in the last 5 years like me, it’s unreal how forgiving the face is. I don’t like thinking about replacing my Titleist, but it’s about time now. The M3 is the real deal.

Got fit into the AP3 irons. Have played 2 rounds with them and been to the range once. They're the perfect blend of the performance of a player's iron with the forgiveness of a higher end game improvement iron. Getting fit is a must, but if you're a single digit cap, I can't see you going wrong with these.

Stupid question but what’s the difference in the sub zero?

I hit it yesterday along with the Epic, Eouge and Ping G400. M3 was ok, but I honestly didn't like it as much as my M2 and the Rogue was better as well. I'd at least look at the M2 as you'll be able to score it for much cheaper, but it may be personal preference. It's a good club, don't get me wrong, but try other stuff if you haven't.

Just picked up my new Miznuo ST180 today.

I hit TM, Callaway, Ping, Titleist and Mizuno drivers at a demo day a few weeks ago and the mizuno gave me the best results.

I’ll give a better review after a few rounds

I played my first round with a "forgiving" putter. Was skeptical of the concept when Chappy first mentioned a few months ago. First round where I barely left any short. It's not a gimme stick, but with the exception of a couple, they all rolled out to or a few inches past the hole. Much more consistent. I am sold.

Ping Vault series. Now saving up for the Evnroll

It’s the same in the XR, Epic and Rogue...the Sub Zero models have a drastically more forward CG. A lot of the weight is on the sole and by the face.

Yea I definitely notice the my Epic SZ, punishes on off center hits. When I am swinging well it's the best I've ever had. Low in the face is not good.

I play Chromesoft and love it, but I have to admit, TP5 is better in windy conditions, very stable. Wind is hell at Golden Nugget
