Needed that rain we got this week

It had been a scorcher, and those greens were feeling the pain of the heat and humidity.

The problem is that he has to swing 100% to get it out there with the young guys. Rory and JT are swinging at about 85%

This course has some teeth. This morning is as easy as it's going to play, and only one guy is better than -2.

I wouldn't be surprised if the winner was single digits or even something like -7 or so.

A wet, thick 7,550 par 70 that's playing every bit that number. I think this is one of the few times I can remember where a course playing wet and soft is hurting the field.

The fact that Tiger and Rory are tied with the difference in how they hit the ball is unreal.

who's hitting it better? if rory could grind like tiger, he'd be an all time great. he just doesn't have that focus.

I went yesterday. First major I’ve ever been to. And let me tell you, I’ll never go again. Hot as frick, can’t see shite, fatass slobs won’t move out of the way, wait 30 minutes to get a bottle of water.

Also it was highly unorganized. They had probably a hundred or more golf carts driving on the walkways through people in both directions on narrow arse paths which made the flow of people awful.

I’m glad I went just to experience it and to see the big guys in person, but other than that it’s pointless to go.

Tobacco is allowed.
