I was able to get one also, with an email saying it would be ready for pickup today (12/2/2020).... but I just got another email saying:

Walmart’s in LA are getting up to 16 at some places today/tomorrow. My Walmart got some and had to ask a manager before they let me get one from the back. Almost had to “wait until tomorrow morning”

I clicked on a Series S link a couple of days ago about 10 minutes after it dropped out of pure curiosity and it surprisingly was in stock and went to my cart. I almost pulled the trigger even though I got EXTREMELY lucky with getting the PS5 last week. Thought it would be a good Christmas gift, but I didn’t want to be greedy with so many people trying to get these things.
I should have though. Probably got bought by a fricking scalper. Those people should be locked in a building and torched William Tavington style.

Anyone who lives in the cypress area I just randomly walked into the Walmart off 529/hwy 6 and asked the lady if they’d ever sell in store. She said hold on and brought one out. Was pleasantly surprised! They may have one or two left if you’re nearby.

I was going there to buy a christmas gift for someone and just figured I'd ask the electronics dept about them. I did no research or call ahead. Just my lucky day i guess.

Man...got lucky and picked one up on the Wal Mart drop last week. Said would be here on January 5. Got a knock on the door this a.m., and it's already here. Son saw it and went crazy. Oh well...won't be a surprise on Christmas day, but he's fired up about it, and I'm relieved.
