Saw a PS5 thread...figured this was needed. Went to Gamestop at 6:45. Line around the building. Sold out in 5 minutes. (Apparently only had 2). Any inside info on when and where any more of these white whales might be dropping?

Man it is just not worth it to me to be waiting in line to snag a console. I'll wait till there are plenty available.

Got lucky and got one online from GameStop Wednesday. It was a bundle with a couple games I didn’t want but oh well.

I mean, Demon's Souls is amazing, but on my Series X, I've been playing through my 360 backlog. Almost done with The Darkness!
I did snag Control: Ultimate Edition on the Series X for $20, so I'm just waiting for them to drop the next gen update in early 2021. I imagine that's going to look very good on the Series X. I also ordered Maneater for $12 because I heard the next gen update is pretty awesome, so I'll dive into that when it gets here.

I got one on Amazon on the first release day. Never could come close to a PS5 and it’s cool. I like the Series X a lot so far. Makes Warzone and Modern Warfare look a lot better.

How or why have they not made enough consoles yet? Are both Sony and Microsoft trying to create higher demand before dropping the load?

Do t think that would make sense considering they sale for what the sale for from the manufacture. Not like they’re going to reduce price when demand goes down. They’d rather sale as many as possible.

Finally got mine through Best Buy this morning! I’ve been trying the past week while roaming on Mexico 3G so was skeptical. Looks like they might have another drop shortly. Good luck

I really thinks it’s in large part due to the Series S being a thing too. They have to use manufacturing resources to produce that console in large numbers too which of course takes away from the Series X.
However, them both being sold out may mean that wouldve been irrelevant but I don’t think so.
That AND the huge lack of in-store stock as opposed to online AND the completely retarded fact they didnt enforce limits per customer - allowing scalpers to reign free

Wasn’t planning on trying to get one. My One X died like 2 days after release. Now searching for one and coming up empty. Pretty crappy. Didn’t really want to spend the money until halo came out.

Was able to grab a XSX from GameStop that were made available to “members” which seemed to have defeated the bots. Came in yesterday and was so tempted to hook it up but I’ll hold off until the 24th.
