No, but my only need for online capability is Netflix and Amazon. Charging me to access these services ensures I'm not getting this system.
I can understand if you play a lot of online games. But I mostly play sports game and the occasional RPG. I think it's stupid of Xbox to make you pay to access Netflix and Amazon when everyone else allows access to them for free.

Xbox doesn't make you pay for anything. If you choose to have a Gold subscription you get premium service. For every 1 additional pay service there are 2 or 3 free services i.e Netflix with Crackle and Epix. Isn't there a premium service for PSN? Where you have to pay a monthly/yearly fee? What do you get with it? Only asking cause I don't know.

Id rather pay and have a clean system than that shitty lag fest PS3 offered
For you that doesn't play online then fine yeah ps3 is better for you but a lot of people don't buy gaming consoles to only watch Netflix and play offline. But playing online on Xbox is way better.

If it really was 400 pounds, I'd expect nothing higher than $450. Pound/dollar difference on Vita was only 20 pounds.

They give you games that you can download and play for as long as you have the membership. These are full games like Vanquish, Sleeping Dogs, Infamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Spec Ops The Line, Demon's Souls, Bioshock 2, etc.
They put up a new batch of games every month.

I see what you're saying but if you want this thing for Christmas you're going to have to get early on a preorder or camp out. There won't be units in stores for mom and dad to scoop up in a Black Friday fever.

I don't think it will be as bad as it has been in the past. The PS2 was really the last gaming system to cause mass hysteria due to shortages around Christmas. The Wii got bad at some point but Nintendo was able to meet a lot of the demands. Manufacturing and logistics isn't like it used to be.
