Isn’t the whole point of a console is that it’s affordable and easy to setup out of the box?

They haven’t had decent market share for over ten years. Game pass is failing. Their purchased studios are going multi platform. Retailers are starting to drop Xbox.

It will probably be easier than a PC which seems to be the space they want to compete in now. so I'd say if they can sell it a price that makes it a relative bargain for PC gamers then they may have something. The ROG XBOX Ally X is kinda testing ground to get the next gen system where it needs to be as far as the user friendliness.
