I honestly cannot see what's wrong with the XMB. Everything is right there in categories and I know where everything is. Maybe it's because I'm used to it though. The Xbox dashboard was confusing to me. I had no idea how to enter a party chat or whatever.

ETA: Probably because I wasn't used to it.

Same here, I love how clean and elegant it is.

Doesn't the PS Store now look and behave pretty much like the XBL Marketplace?

Not really. It's better than it was though.

This isn't just limited to the store. It's the overall interface. Xbox party system is easier to manage, messaging isn't as cumbersome, just a list of little things that matter to some and not to thers. Again, it's all in preference.

I'm not trying to troll you here, I just don't get how you can say something is better and then not say why with any kind of fact.

The only thing PSN is missing is the party chat/voice messenging/invite system and a better microphone quality.

Everything else is either just as good or subjective.

I still pay $5 a month for XBL FWIW.

You were on like 4 dashboards ago. It wasn't bad then but it is pretty awesome now. Navigation is easy and you can choose which apps to pin on your start screen so if you watch Netflix a lot it's there as soon as you start up. Just little things I appreciate.

also, think how many people are willing to give up that $5 a month so easily as compared to a free online service. must be doing something right.

I mean, on XMB if you watch Netflix a lot just tap the D Pad to Video Services, scroll down like two apps and boom, Netflix. That's not a huge deal to me.

But the cumbersome messaging...Jesus, that really is a check mark for XBL.

Quick off topic question...I am waiting on UPS but I need to run up the road for 20-30 minutes to help a friend out. If I leave a note on my door asking UPS to leave the package without my signature will they do it?

I think that is when the "that is where my friends are playing" argument comes in. And that is based on the console being more accessible at the beginning of last gen.

Does it require a signature? I have packages left all the time if it's not important. They stick it by the door and leave.

I've never understood why PSN updates take 5 times as long as Xbox for the same thing. Say like when a map pack drop I can download that on Xbox in a few minutes but it's 20-30 on PSN. I am wondering if Xbox download is more like a torrent where you pull from a lot of people (in this case more servers) so it's a lot faster or what. It just never made sense to me.

Most likely. I only assume it'll be even faster with the retarded amount of servers for Neo. That's what I'm calling it now. Neo.

ETA: Holy shite, it's an anagram. I entertain the shite out of myself!

Most of the time. Put your name and sign the sheet of paper you leave.

Maybe if you sign the note.
