Patch Notes:
DMR Balance Tweaks
Increased the damage of all DMRs across all ranges. Specifically, damage has been increased at long ranges to allow three-hit kills against unarmored opponents. Additionally, reduced the penalty to accuracy for sustained DMR fire, allowing more rapid follow up shots in combat. The amount of the damage increase varies from weapon to weapon, according to its intended range, rate of fire, and damage. We will continue to monitor the effectiveness of DMRs in combat, and determine if additional action is needed to make DMRs a viable mid to long range weapon.
Other items
Greatly reduced the risk of crosshairs disappearing, which would also result in hit markers disappearing
Added a headshot icon on the killcard. This should help identify instances where players are correctly killed by one shot
Fixed an issue in Squad Deathmatch where the “Win/Lose” text was overlapping
Fixed an issue with players using an exploit for the SOFLAM
Fixed an issue with players using an exploit for the MAV
Fixed the gameplay code to properly track the FOV (Field of View) changes in the options menu
Fixed an issue where chat would break when entering "false" or "true" in the chat window
Fixed an out-of-helicopter glitch in Air Superiority where players could spawn on the ground and play as infantry
Fixed the misaligned crosshairs on the T90 MBT
Added setting to tweak joystick dead zone
Various minor crash fixes

Just got a new xbox one and BF4. I have been a COD player for some time now.
How long did it take some of you who played COD to get use to the game play of BF4? Idk if its the right thumb stick on the new controller or the game but I am getting raped repeatedly on this game.

What game modes are you playing? It has a bit of a learning curve, but BF is all about being a team player IMO. Make sure you spot enemies, drop health and ammo, and dont do as much run and gun. Get a feel for tge game before you try to run around corners and blast people.

You might also be adjusting to the frames-per-second upgrade. As someone who jumped from BF4 on 360 to One, even I had an adjustment period.

the main thing i would suggest when just starting is to concentrate on the actual purpose of the skillsets: assault (medic), engineer (anti - air/land), and support (resupply). if support or medic. continiously drop ammo or health. revive. etc. if engineer. do everything it takes to take out enemy vehicles. these things will net you a lot of easy points early on and help you progress in those skillsets and provide you more unlocks.
as far as guns. find a gun early on you are comfortable with. doesn't have to be the best. most powerful, most accurate, etc. and stick with it to unlock a ton of attachments. then once you've got plenty of attachments and have unlocked most of the guns in that class. move onto a gun with better base stats that wasn't previously unlocked.
and always float the edges of the map. watch your mini-map. find good safe posistions to defend or attack the objectives. and don't worry about your K/D early on. it's fricked from the get go, worry about SPM. that's the only real measurable in BF.

Bruce was somewhat integrated into LESI for a while. Then fell off the map completely (joined MasterDoucheRace)
