Zapy was my main, I’m a shaman and raided in the guild Supremacy before it disbanded. I have some friends that raid in Virility. I’m transferring because a bunch of irl friends are resubbing for TBC.

The big shite show now is that they nerfed honor rates massively, a dev claimed they were 10x what they should have been. Now BG wins give you like 200 honor and you get like 1-2 honor per kill.

Gold comes easier in TBC, but you also have huge gold sinks like regular and epic flying mounts and profession gear.

I've been burnt out on classic. I'm on netherwind (Horde) and my guild made it into Naxx but lost a lot of our core members and we never really made it beyond the spider wing and a few bosses after.
Until this I had never raided in Classic or really any expansion, I always just quested and did some dungeons on a max level character but never joined a guild or raided or anything. I've been having a lot of fun with it and really looking forward to TBC. Pre patch doesn't mean much for me since I'll probably be one of the few Horde sticking with my character and not rolling something new.

I didn’t play much classic but I’m leveling right now on Mankirk.
I started playing back in TBC so I hope some of the nostalgia holds. Paying for a sub just for this since I no longer play retail.
As grindy as it is (even with pre-patch xp nerfs), I am glad I didn’t buy a boost. I joined one of those huge social/leveling guilds for dungeons and stuff. It’s slow, but it’s fun.

That actually probably would keep me from playing. At that point we'd have store mounts, level boost, and wow token all in the shop for TBC.

I have a stupid question about WoW. So are they just re-releasing the TBC content or did they upgrade the graphics and add new content to TBC?

It's just a re-release. The only new content is the cash shop, surprise surprise.
