The WoW world seems pretty hyped over this.
They've wanted Classic Plus forever. Wonder how this will affect Retail WoW in the long run.

I was surprised at how big this announcement was. It is easily 2-3X more content at launch than I was expecting. The amount of new quests and new professions recipes has me really excited. And the fog, lighting, water upgrades look amazing.
I haven’t been fully addicted to WoW in years but this one might pull me in.

Man I tried WoW Classic a few years ago and just couldn't get into it. Felt super slow. Maybe I didn't give it enough time but I enjoyed OSRS way more.

It 100% is a slow game until it isn't.
I'll be playing but i'm an old man compared to when Classic came out in 2019.

Ive been a classic andy for years. Have done the hardcore challenge to 60 and again to TBC 70.
Im just disappointed personally. It feels like they have lost the WAR in WARCRAFT. its just too much carebear now a days. Skyborn is absolutely ridicilous in the classic setting.
they tried to please too many people from retail, instead of giving the classic community what it really wanted. Classic just expanded with more stuff to do.

I don’t hate the skyborne but it was definitely the lazy and safe route they took. The blood elf model is one of the most if not the most played race in WoW. And they had to make horde players happy and give them a pretty race.
I think it would have been better if they would have made 2 different races, even if one was skyborne , and gave alliance one and horde one. Sharing a race does feel very retail.

I'm not sure if they could have picked a worse name for this if they tried. At its absolute best, "WoW Forever" Just sounds like a generic private server.

Ill definitely give it a shot. I never picked up classic, though I played WoW back in 2004 and maintained my sub for over a decade.
I do agree that the Sky Elves seem a little weird. I mean, at this point why not just give Horde Blood Elves and Alliance High Elves? It's basically the same thing as the two factions of Sky Elves.
Still, I played a Ret Pally for years, and I always wanted classic Paladin but with a few more buttons.

I got a group playing. We are going horde, pvp rule set. If anyone is doing the same let me know. We plan on starting a guild so we can eventually raid without having to deal with a sweaty arse guild that needs logs/parses and dumb arse shite like that
