All this PC talk has me leaning towards skipping the next gen and spending an extra 300-400 on a gaming rig.
Last gaming PC I built was in 2003. I bet I could spend $1k without my wife pitching too much of a fit.

Not how we do things, but to each his own. We talk about out of the norm expenditures beforehand. Sometimes it's for me, sometimes it's for her.
I don't bitch about it when she spends 400-500 on clothes 3-4 times a year and she doesn't bitch when I buy a new gun or some electronic device I don't need. Give and take.

This times infinity. I built mine for 1k and we didn't have that agreement but guess what happened... That's another reason I am putting off upgrading...
