I'm about to go Peej in here so prepare yourself.
IN MY OPINION!!!!! The XMB worked FoR ME... It has its drawbacks but so does the XBOX dashboard. If they could fuse the PSNs interface with the XBoxs features it would be perfect.
And to end this rant in classic Peej style.

I haven't bashed anyone in any of the threads about Xbox vs PS4. In fact every convo I have had has been legit discussions about my opinions or info found on the net yet a few pro PS people like you, Taylor, and a few others have bashed me pretty good the past few days all because I have shared my thoughts and opinions.
Many have done it as if their opinions are fact and mine are wrong. There are obviously things that are indisputable but when it's an opinion you can tell me that you disagree and tell me why but there is no need to post it as fact and try to sway me or bash because I disagree.

You honestly were coming off like yours were the only opinions that mattered.
I do not agree to the sentiment that I was bashing you.
Get what you want, it's not going to change my opinions on what I want to buy (which hasn't been decided yet).
My only opinion from all this is that I was not impressed with Microsoft yesterday because I don't care for most of the social interaction and tv interaction they were trying to sell.
I like video games. I like using a controller so PC will most likely never be my #1 because I can't keep up in multiplayer games with people who use a mouse and keyboard.
I don't need to be able to do fantasy football on my Xbox or any of that. Most of those features are already offered in my smart TVs or my computer.
If they come out guns blazing at EA with some awesome game videos then I will definitely buy.

Anyone who wants to show their real process would never use an etch a sketch.
Sidewalk chalk is the only answer. Better user interface, more color options, some have scents. Anyone who disagrees with this is 100% wrong.

No. You took it that way because it's an opinion that doesn't go in line with yours.

What does this have to do with the current convo me and you were having? It doesn't but yet you won't miss a chance to try and sway my and everyone else's opinions to line up with yours because god forbid people don't see it the same way as you do.

It has bearing on that this whole thread is about "opinions on the two new systems"
I don't have enough info on either but the things shown by Microsoft yesterday don't impress me. Those features aren't for me. Maybe you love them and that's great for you.

I don't understand what everyone is bitching about, this was a console reveal. The console and it's features were revealed, I think that was pretty clear. I do most of my movie, tv, netflix, hulu, and some sporting events through my xbox. So this reveal was pretty impressive to me, I can now do practically everything seamlessly through this xbox. It was very clear that microsoft was using this as a reveal of everything the One can do, and E3 would be where the games are going to be featured.
So what exactly were the negatives of this console reveal? Everything looked like an improvement to me

The confusion in regards to used games and their accessibility on another machine doesn't inspire very much confidence. I am also not a huge fan of the new Kinect being a mandatory feature of the machine. This shouldn't bother a whole lot of people though.
Although everything else is a big plus.

The kinect will have to be attached but I doubt the majority of games will use it in a real capacity.

I can't say that I am upset that Kinect is included (besides maybe the higher price associated with it being included) but I want to know how many of those 8 new IPs are Kinect games.
The console navigation through Kinect seems to be pretty sweet.
