He read on Reddit though that MS is evil and only wants to make money.....
He's also one of the biggest Obama supporters on TD so no doubt he is OK with bigger Government controlling things.
It's funny to see him upset about DRM yet the very same party he supports are the ones that have tried multiple times now to pass different laws to have more control over the internet. Every one of those bills were pushed for hard by lobbyist groups from the entertainment industry because the entertainment industry was trying to gain more copyright control.

Sega and Atari eventually went the way of the Dinosaur, and they weren't showing they outright hostility towards consumers that Microsoft is. When gamers shun the XBox1 in droves will that be the end of the XBox series as we know it? I could see Google or Apple joining the fray next time to complete with Sony.
Apple already tried, and failed

When did apple try? I was honestly wondering the other day why they hadn't emerged in the market. But, apparently I completely missed their attempt.

They are doing just fine with the iphone and ipad app store market. They don't even need to attempt to join the gaming market.

It's pretty crazy how bad MS looks to alot of people after their E3 presser. Their entire marketing department should be canned.
it wouldn't matter if they debuted a console made of gold that licked your balls, you gaming nerds would bitch about it. 99% of games these days suck , it's all about the graphics and not game play anymore.

good lord that would be a cluster frick of epic proportions if everyone pre orders games and sony,ms ,best buy, walmart, gamestop etc all end up changing the price. The backlash would be awful

I don't see the Xbox One going anywhere, but down in price (seriously doubt it though) and MS has said that any game they develop will be $60.
PS is less likely to change in price, but have yet to say how expensive their games will be.

it's a shame that you don't understand the concept of taking a principled stand against something.
it's also a shame that you're so willing to let a company tell you that when you buy their product you don't really own it, they still do.

A lot of us have been using steam for a while so digital distribution isn't that new to us. Phasing out physical disk sales was bound to happen sooner or later. If you don't want in, buy PS4 and keep raging against the machine.
