Fallout 3 was the first I ever played and I loved it, didn’t get new Vegas because I was an idiot back then and didn’t understand how the game order worked. I though new Vegas was some money grab quick release in between fallout 3 and 4 so I never played it and I usually hear it’s the best one. I enjoy 4 a lot. I have 76 a chance way later but ultimately I just don’t have much fun playing it.

I’ve spent lots of time with Fallout 4. But it doesn’t come close to New Vegas.
They need to remake it.
They need to remake it.

If they remaster it, add ultra wide support, and incorporate the unofficial bug patch, I would absolutely buy it again.

New Vegas is my favorite game. Probably played through it about 5 or 6 times.

I’m playing through Vegas right now. Got the Ultimate Edition so it includes all the DLCs. So far I’m enjoying it more then Fallout 3.

New Vegas - best story
4 - Best map
3 - Best faction war
Side note: 76 is fun and getting way better. Still has big potential

This. Exactly this.
I MIGHT move New Vegas above 1, it's close.

I started with 4 and enjoyed it. Then, I started 3 and was enjoying it as well until it kept freezing over and over and over. I got New Vegas on sale after I bought 3, but I haven't started playing it yet because I don't want to get invested and have it freeze.

I haven’t have any major issues with NV. At most a enemy’s dead body gets stuck in the ground. 3 did have quite a few glitches and freezing. Had to revert to a previous save more then once.

Just curious on the ps3 version of new vegas can we open up lucky 38 and run it? Make money on it? Gamble in it?

The Lucky 38 can be entered and is relevant to the plot of the game. I’m disinclined to go into more detail than that.

one summer i played oblivion, then FO3, and immediately started NV, and by that time, i was pretty burned out on the formula. so ive always wanted to go back and finish NV.
FO4 was more polished, the combat was pretty good, and i absolutely loved base building, but everything else was pretty boring. the quests were generally bad, uninspired, dialogue poor with few choices. so FO3, with its flaws and limitations, was alot more interesting to me.

If you’re looking for dialogue, NV is your game. And make sure you play all the dlc.

I can’t comment on FO1 or 2, but New Vegas is one of the games I find myself returning to year after year like Morrowind and Baldur’s Gate. In my top 5 games all time. Maybe top 3.

I’ve never played FO1, 2 or 76. What I have played is FO3 and new Vegas. Amongst those two I go Vegas then FO3, 3 had so much to unpack but Vegas had easy Replayability
