Unless you are wanting faster load times, there is not much reason for one.

With shortage of XSX and PS5, I wonder if they will delay true next gen only games as well?

It would be nice if MSFT would release ray tracing for XSX Minecraft. Already out there in PC world for some time.

Idk of this still works but check the sites that track physical stock at Target. I was refreshing every hour or so right when it came out and 2 popped up right near my house, walked over and grabbed it.

Y'all really need to subscribe to GYX Deals on Twitter and make sure you have your notifications on. They tweet out when PS5's or XSX's are available. Be ready to go, and get one.

I've already purchased a PS5, and got an XSX for my boy. There's no telling how many I could have purchased and re-sold for a profit, but I'm not a low life scumbag, so I can't bring myself to do that.

if you still haven't secured a console it's honestly on you. you aren't gonna get one if you are just randomly expecting one to be in stock when you check. you have to subscribe to the twitter feeds and get notifications the minute they are in stock to have a chance.
