Best gaming experience? Probably "the last of us", the storyline was absolutely incredible, it was packed with so much emotion that I just couldn't get enough of it.

Been hearing lots of great things about LoU. Compelling story lines are def a plus. Maybe I can find a PS4 on the cheap and take advantage of all those PS4 exclusives.

quote:

Witcher 3 for single player was literally the first game I had ever played all night until I would make myself go to bed, think about all day at work and play asap when i got home.

This. Last summer I decided to quit drinking until football season. I was single at the time so for 4 months all I did was work as much overtime as possible, workout, and play witcher. On my days off from work I'd go to the gym early then literally play all day until the sun went down. In all my years of gaming I've never been able to do that with another game. I've always had to take a break after a couple hours. Not witcher 3. Hours went by like minutes with that game. I don't know if I will experience anything like that game again. Maybe witcher 4

Multiplayer: halo 3 in highschool. If there was nothing going on on a Friday or Saturday night me and 3 buddies would go to one of their houses that had a sick gaming room, smoke a blunt out back, and play that shite all night. Good times

Honorable mention: Starcraft in middle school. I was in a clan and we played 3 vs 3 all night on weekends. Many epic matches lasting over 2 hours. Used to own with Protoss

First game that really stands out to this question is Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I've been gaming for a long time, but this game really is timeless, despite the bad voice acting.

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver is another that set the standard on what a game with a story could be.

First game that really made an impact story-wise was FFVII on the original Playstation.

College it was countless drunken nights of CounterStrike and Day of Defeat with my roommates. In DoD we had a clan called [MyLittlePony] and used aimbots like a mofo. I was actually ranked #47 in the world for awhile.

Best MMORPG story by far has been Witcher 3. But then again I loved Witcher 1 and 2 as well.

The Last of Us is still hands down the best experience I've ever had. After that game I said it was the best movie/game/show/anything I had ever been apart of.

game that had the biggest impact on my life was Rainbow Six 3 on the original Xbox. Countless hours spent playing. Had registered teams on gamebattles.com and something-ladder . com. That shite was so serious and soooo good.

My original NES as a kid. Beating mike tysons punch out for the first time, Zelda 2, ninja gaiden , and star tropics in a room full of buddies. N64 and ff7/ original resident evil for ps back in high school were second.

This is actually a tough question. Maybe LAN parties for Halo in middle school? LAN events for Warcraft III or LoL (back when it was in beta)?

Not sure what would classify as best experience.
