What are you all thinking of Cyberpunk 2077 as we get closer to release?

I'm thinking it's obviously going to be an epic game with incredible depth in the world.

My only concern is that there will be a lot of bugs and glitches throughout. Hopefully all minor.

I still wish it had been a 3rd person game.

Just hoping I have some time to play it and an open system in my house to do so.

Staying as far away from internet previews/lets plays/etc so that I don't ruin it for myself.

But I havent been this pumped for a new release in a long time. Should be exciting stuff.

Looks amazing. Will be a day one buy. Never buy full price either. Though if this game is amazing as it looks than I think it is important to support the developers on their achievement and hope it encourages other developers to follow suit.

I'm not looking at too much myself.. even though stuff I linked I maybe skipped ahead to parts of the videos and caught a few seconds. Reading on the Steam forums some people seem disappointed in the gameplay.. I'm just going to wait and see how it plays out.

I was burned by The Division, so I'm waiting for actual reviews before I buy. No more first day purchases.

That I'm going to ignore it for as long as possible, let you guinea pigs work out all the bugs, and then I'll pick it up either during the Steam Black Friday sale or the Winter sale, and if it's still not on sale at that point, I'll just pay full price, knowing the bugs have probably been worked out by now

This is a game I shouldn’t like. Never got into steampunk. Don’t like first-person games. Not much of a shooter fan, either.

But I’m still gonna play it. CDPR has a pretty good track record.

I see a few people have mentioned bugs. Is CDPR known for buggy games? I know it's been quite a while but I remember getting the Witcher 3 on release and the biggest complaint was small text.

I think this game is going to be incredible. I think CDPR knows the expectations and want to exceed them which is why they pushed it back twice. If they're ready to launch it in November then it's going to blow everyone away.

They aren't, but games this big almost always have bugs. They are usually wiped out in a week or so, but it's still nice to make it past that first patch.

That's really what I want to do but I don't know if I have that restraint.

I know they have different career arcs to follow, but I rarely play through an open world game more than once. I invest too much time in them with not much free time already that I can never justify going through it a second time

I haven’t been this excited about a game in awhile. I’m actually worried I’m gonna play this so much that I won’t touch the other launch games for weeks at least

Buying it day one just to support CPR.

I love the setting and aesthetic of the game, my only issue is the FPS view. It'd be infinitely more appealing to me if you had an option like Skyrim to go FP or TP.

But, I believe in these devs to deliver an awesome experience so I'm all in.

I preordered on October 3rd just a couple days before the 'gone Gold' announcement. Though I did buy it on Steam because that's where I prefer my games to be if given a choice. This definitely isn't the preferred method if I wanted to 100% support CDPR though. Oh well... sorry I don't want to use GOG and never have.
