What are the absolute best Open World/RPG games out for PS4 right now?

I can't speak on ME:A, but I've heard it kind of is a letdown and is comparable to DA:I, which was okay at best.

I love the Witcher and if you haven't played the two DLC's they are worth jumping back in by themselves. I want to start a new save at some point, I just need the time.

I haven't seen a bad game mentioned as of yet. So you've got a lot to choose from

I would characterize the Souls games as open world, it's obviously a different type of open world than something like GTA but it's an open world, more in the Zelda vein

60% of the game is listening to dull dialogue, the other 40% is wonky combat.

Horizon Zero Dawn and it's not even close.

I didnt play Skyrim until the remastered. I like the game overall but the combat is terrible.

Witcher's combat is pretty bad too but better than Skyrim.

That's where IMO Horizon and Nier:A come in. Both have excellent combat systems in them. Such a joy to play both.

while technically open world, you have a pretty linear path you have to take through them.

i'm pretty sure OP is looking for something more like Skyrim/Witcher 3/Horizon/Shadows of Mordor
