Days gone is an open world zombie survival game. Very fun and pretty good story.
I know they're not next gen, but just case 3 and 4 are a blast.

Octopath Traveler II is really solid. I don’t usually play JRPGs but I’ve been having a blast with this one. Struggling to put it down. It’s a nice blend of modern 3D and classic 16 bit graphics/style

There are some good games on ps plus.
Also have the god of war trial and tiny tina trial. Cyberpunk trial is on there I believe.
Obviously you will only get minimal play time but if you enjoy them enough, just buy them.
Also a bunch of demos. I played the soul hackers 2 demo and liked it enough I bought it and been playing. Is like a less daunting persona 5.
Also if you haven’t played ghost of Tsushima do yourself a favor and just get it. That’s prob the only single player game you will need for a minute. And I’m sure it’s relatively cheap wether you buy digital or disc. Like under $30.

Op something I just saw when browsing deathloop is on ps plus. I have the highest tier so it might be limited to that but if you can play it on there definitely ast least give it a whirl, damn returnal is there too. along with a bunch of great other games in their best from PlayStation. PS plus has massively improved in the 16 months I have had a ps5

Yeah the climbing is very janky, I find myself looking towards jumping points but the game just refuses to do it.
It's not enough for me to hate the game though. I'm about to go to DEMTER's coordinates, and I still have 3-4 Tallnecks to unlock. Still probably got another 15-20 hours left.

yeah that happened constantly. just wait till you spend a few minutes climbing up to a survey drone, you jump to it, and she just doesn't grab on. infuriating
I 100%d it a couple weeks ago. Main story was really awesome and performances all around were great with some awesome setpieces. Just like last game, I was pretty disappointed with the side stuff overall though - just very AAA gamey

Forbidden West was pretty terrible too me. I can tour my hand on why other than the uncanny valley feeling and how he expect exact same game that didn’t do anything different as a sequel and tack on the ubifisoft style check list world

Ya know for as as much shite as I give ya Strokes I actually like you and believe you’re probably an downright fun person to be around and shares a lot the same passions as me clearly by what we post on this website namely games and the Braves. The difference is I am mostly concerned with critical conversations even if my mind moves to fast for my fingers on my phone and times leading to mistakes and typos. You’re mostly more interested in just being a shite poster here than anything else (with exception like 85% of your post Braves related.) which is fine and all but yah man I’ve been here since 2011. I often, especially on the gaming board in particular and will go into long post form trying to gget out all I have to and seeing feedback in return. Some of even most of them are well thought analysis and worthy of discussion just rapidly blasted on my too small for my thumbs iPhone 9E. It’s been 13 years man. I’m not sure how funny the joke still is since the meaning behind any post is crystal clear still and I’ll edit if needed to make sure it is

Returnal. What a frustrating game at first but man it ended up being a blast. Def recommended it .
