I think sniping is what makes some people not like the BBC2 type games. Not saying that you guys did it, but most of the times when i played the demo, everyone wanted to snipe. No one tried to capture objectives or move up.
I think Homefront may be the same way. If you have a good group of guys and everyone does something different, then it'll be fun. If everyone is sitting in a building hardscoping and not doing anything, it'll get old quick
I can't even imagine CoD being too fun with a team full of people sniping

really? I didn't know this. I guess this is like the hacked games that we played in on MW2 where everyone had a red diamond around them. That's pretty cool. Should eliminate some camping

Yeah, they said they tried to make the multiplayer to where it discourages camping. One can camp, but not the whole match. It all sounds good, but we'll just have to see it in action to be sure.

I was only able to watch the video in this thread. I haven't had a chance to watch others. Are there killstreaks in this game? I saw something in the video where it said "M4 Killstreak", but the guy never busted out anything(predator/attack helo/etc.)

Not in a CoD sense but once you get enough battle points you can call in things you have pre selected from your kit like tanks, hummers, missles, UAVs, and so on. I want to fly an Apache ASAP.
Another thing I was good at in BBC3 was the heli. I could one fly like a mad man and Broke did work as my gunner.

Here's how it goes...you get BP, or Battle Points, for kills, getting objectives, etc. With those BP, you can buy different rewards. You set what you can buy in a slot, kind of like killstreaks. But I think you only get two.
There are all kinds of rewards, from small cost items like flak vests or rocket launchers to UAV's to tanks and Apaches, hellfires, umbrella bombs, etc. I've seen some of the hellfires and umbrellas in action and they're...um...fricking awesome.

I'm not quite sure how it all works...I just remembered seeing a dude's class and he had two slots for things he could buy, like a flak vest and a hellfire. Additionally, when he dies he can choose to buy a vehicle. And you can choose to buy a small vehicle like a land drone or air drone (UAV), or save up as you wrack up BP to unlock a tank or Apache as the match goes on.

I like hutches review. Im not expecting COD. Im expecting it NOT to suck balls like BFBC when I play it. I hope it has more variety then what i see so far.I love customization.

I like COD. I love to Run n Gun TDM. But I love BC2. It wasn't my style at first. Cuz I was a selfish bitch who wanted kills. The movement was slow. It was just something I thought I'd never liked. Then the BETA came out. The bullet drops, the vehicles, the building destruction was just some of the best action I've seen in a FPS. I found myself wanting to sacrifice myself for the team. I felt as if me and my squad were brothers on a mission. I felt the stress leave me as I realized kills aren't everything in this game. When I realized that, I was hooked.
BC2 just brought a lot more to the table IMO. But COD has a special place in my heart when I just wanna move fast and kill bitches.

As far as homefront goes...
Nothings stands out. Nothing makes me go OMG I have to get this game.

Like I always said, it looks to have the tight controls of CoD with the openness and action of BF. It's a perfect marriage.

The guns look good. I like how u can see where a guy is behind a mountain. Too big to be running around lookin for bad guys. These games seem to take a while to learn though. I'll get it if most of lesi does. I'm not playing alone!
