If you stack every game up to CoD, make every comparison to what you're already comfortable with, you will always, ALWAYS be disappointed, but if you play a new game with an open mind to readjust your instincts, Homefront will rock your balls off. It's not a "filler" game.
Encourages teamwork, but u can lone wolf. Feels like a cross between CoD, BBC2, GTA, and CS. Overall, just fun.

They are pretty honest about it and he is correct about comparing shite to CoD too much.

it's not near the awesomeness that the run and gun every man for himself COD is.
if you want to see how a team rolls on COD, pop in your BLOPS disc and get your shite pushed in by us.
most everyone who isn't a BBC2 fanboi was bored as shite with BBC2 after 2 weeks. It's slow. It's repetitive. Graphics are mehh. Gameplay wasn't there.

You guys are good at CoD. We get it. Some of these folks, like Blitzed, are good at BC2. We get it. The games are not alike.

while true.
the same fricking arguments can be made for every military FPS.
my main point is, the Acreboy is dumb as frick if he thinks COD is run and gun and every man for himself.

He may be, but there is some truth in his thinking. CoD is a Rambo game, while BC2 tends to be a more team oriented game. It's set up that way. CoD is not.
And BC2 is not a shitty game. The graphics are not shitty, either. It's more of a challenge in a game like BC2 where the objective is not necessarily kill streaking. The only thing that really bothers me about BC2 is that it seems like it takes more control to get kills (i.e., skill) and the amount of snipers.

To be fair...on 6 man game types one person can rule a game by himself in CoD. UNLESS he actually runs into another team that is. On Mercenary it's not unusual for one guy to rule though. Hell, that's what 90% of the CoD Youtbe videos are.

i dont believe this for a minute. while one players score may be far better than the rest of his teammates. he still needs to the other players support to win objective gametypes.
If everyone sits back or rushed the entire time to boost their score, call in dogs, get a C/G get the most kills, etc.
that team will lose unless the other team is shitty to begin with.
Except for TDM. 1 player can dominate that gametype.

i've got FN Champion to keep me busy for now. Until I see or read this isn't BC2 Round 2. I'm sitting still.

I admit I can't play BFBC2 for more than a few weeks before it gets boring. But I'm not equating that with Homefront. Homefront actually looks like a lot of fun. To me at least.

Good times. I miss sniping from a mile away.

Yea I loved that automatic sniper rifle on BBC2. It was a beast.

I think sniping is what makes some people not like the BBC2 type games. Not saying that you guys did it, but most of the times when i played the demo, everyone wanted to snipe. No one tried to capture objectives or move up.
I think Homefront may be the same way. If you have a good group of guys and everyone does something different, then it'll be fun. If everyone is sitting in a building hardscoping and not doing anything, it'll get old quick
I can't even imagine CoD being too fun with a team full of people sniping
