The woke aspects are relatively easy to ignore. There's an extremely on-the-nose and out of place side quest where you can make yourself "non-binary." Other than that, just ignore Tash in general.
At some point, the geniuses at BioWare decided they were a "gameplay first" company and started treating their writers like shite.
Their good writers either quit or were laid off. I would say the writing has been going downhill ever since the release of ME3. Inquisition, Andromeda, and worst of all Veilguard are bland as dishwater from a writing standpoint, and it makes it patently obvious then that BioWare games never had the best gameplay.

Woke aspects of any game are easy to eyeroll away, provided the rest of the game is solid, and the woke aspects aren't overwhelming.

I didn’t mind Ahsoka, I just felt it was meh. The two dark force users were worth watching the show.

Politics aside.
The combat is not like traditional DA games. I felt it was worse, a downgrade from previous games.
The art isn’t really any better than Inquisition, except in a few spots.
I’d just recommend replaying the first three games, with all DLC. Much more enjoyable experience.
