Lol Nintendo is diabolical doing a direct a week before switch 2 direct. I think this is a great play by them though. Silence since the announcement and now really build up the hype a week before. All these games will be backwards compatible. So I'm hoping for windwaker or twilight princess remasters.
The rumors for this direct made sense. Nintendo is coming up on their fiscal year end and they want to show continued support for the switch. So now is a good time to let people now what games are still coming to Switch 1.

I would nut if we get those remasters on the switch. I played bits and pieces of each over the years and would like to be able to play them both on my switch

Windwaker is the only major Zelda title that I have never played. I really hope this becomes available on the Switch.

The PS5 Pro is the only recent one I can recall. There are still issues with the supply of disc drives, but the console itself has always been readily available.
But that's obviously a niche product.

Fun Fact: The only console I have ever gotten on release day was the N64. The Electronics Boutique got their initial shipment off like 5 of them the day before the official release day and I was 3rd on the list. Got both Mario 64 and Pilotwings with it. Played the every loving shite out of both for months waiting for new games.

A lot of scuttlebutt from various industry insiders who have been reviewing earnings statements from some of the hardware vendors supplying parts seem to indicate that they've been making the things and stacking like firewood since last November.

There’s no chance 7.5 million devices have been stockpiled in warehouses over the past 4 months without a single one falling out of the back of a truck and finding its way to eBay.
