I plan on playing the Show and drinking cheap beer until I have to close one eye to hit.

I know I’m 5 years late to the party but I finally picked up HZD and have been absolutely addicted. I’m talking 8-12 hour sessions addicted. I’m sitting at 92% completion with all side missions complete and all collectibles found. Time to just blaze through the main story, should only take a day then going to dive into the frozen lands DLC. Such a great game

Be prepared for a significant difficulty spike in Frozen Wilds compared to the base game. Incredible DLC, though, graphically, gameplay, and lore-wise. And it has actually become an example I go to regarding advances in graphics creating immersion that is jarring when it's removed.

To be less vague, the base game has you just run on top of the snow like it's any other mesh. FW adds really nice effects to the snow as you walk over it/through it. But when they added that, they only added it to the DLC area. So when you travel back to the base games areas, the effects are gone. It genuinely shocked me how something so quickly went from something I didn't even notice to finding it utterly immersion breaking. But it was a really interesting microcosm into why we all felt like games from two decades ago "looked so realistic" when they, quite clearly, did not

Anyway, that tangent aside, I'm getting back into GreedFall this weekend.

I’m playing the “complete edition” so you can actually go to the frozen wilds before you even beat the base game. I went up there early on thinking it was just another side quest since it had a marker and “frozen wilds” popped up on the screen and I was like oh shite and went back wanting to finish the base game first

The whole reason I picked up HZD was because I thought forbidden west looked awesome but I wanted to get the full story so decided to play zero dawn first. However, I suspect I’ll be burned out by time I finish frozen wilds so will probably pick something else up and take a break before forbidden west

Road to the Show is kinda janky but I mostly play Diamond Dynasty and have a solid time.

I'm aware, and did so. Not sure how that's responsive to my post

Reminds me of the mid 90s when I went from RBI Baseball (NES) and RBI 94 (SEGA) to World Series Baseball 95 (SEGA). My mind was blown with the realism of the player models, different pitch types, and playing in the real stadiums. Looked up a video online not too long ago and laughed
