it's not the best type of weapon you can use.
Right now the Meta in the crucible for Destiny is fast ROF pulse rifles and shotguns. About this time last year, the slower ROF pulses were the meta, NIrwen's Mercy among some others, but now it's Hawksaw, Blind Perdition, Grasp of Malok.
Snipers also were the meta until the recent nerf. That's why you see so many shotguns now.

I'm hoping to get the Future war cult to drop me their pulse from a package. I've been shafted on pulse rifles in this game. I'm tired of them destroying my scout rifle at a pretty long distance.

I got a god roll from a package. High caliber rounds, perfect balance, counter balance.
I'll use it every once in awhile, but if you use other pulse rifles, it may take a few games to get used to.

I'll use the Hawksaw occasionally, but I'm almost purely Midas right now.
I only shotgun. I'm just not talented enough to snipe against people that know what they are doing, and the ones that don't are pretty easy to kill with a scout rifle.

It's the Mida in Destiny, but the division had a 'High-end', essentially an exotic, weapon called the Midas.

God what that game could have been. So much of it was great, the rest was just so bad that it ruined everything. I still get a kick just running around the city though. Absolutely gorgeous.
