Amazing News. THPS is one of the greatest games series of all time.

The first 4 games in this series are legendary in the way they took a great concept, executed it to near perfection in the first game, and then added new stuff in each subsequent game, and all of the new stuff was executed flawlessly too, while retaining the spirit of the first game.
I can't think of any other series that evolved so well (at least through its first four games). It was truly remarkable to watch and I ate that shite up back in the day.

I could swear I remember some Tony Hawk compilation with maps from the first two games coming out within the last few years. Reviews were bad though.

I guess I was the only one that didn’t really care for “Skate” and how all the tricks were tied to how you flicked the right thumb stick.

I enjoyed because it gave a little more sense of realism and felt better when you pulled off the trick. At the same time, I like the arcadey, pickup-and-play aspect of Tony Hawk as well
