Thoughts on Project Stream? Is this what Googles console will do?

Google announced that you can play Assassins Creed Odyssey for free on Google Chrome at 1080p 60fps regardless of your computers hardware.

I just don't think the masses have the necessary internet speeds for online streaming to work. It's clear though that developers want this to be the future of gaming with how hard they are pushing it.

I signed up. My PC gets about 900 mb/s, so hopefully my name gets drawn and I get to try it out. I'd love for this to catch on.

Steamlink would probably work nicely for this if you have another laptop/PC with steam in the house

Tested it on a 2011 MacBook Pro and it runs perfectly. This is insane.

I was really surprised how well it work and how smooth it ran, of course it is bandwidth depended but it's pretty cool.

It works near-perfect on my internet connection. No noticeable lag on the input. Video quality is top notch.
ETA: Controller input lags pretty badly if I cast my browser to my tv, so PC it is.

I actually hate AC games outside of Black Flag and Origins. Try Origins, it is a good one.

When people say this, what they're really saying is, "I like AC games that don't really play like AC games"
Have you played Rogue? That one gets overlooked often but I think it has the best gameplay of all the last gen games.
