Agreed, the first 4 months of the year were loaded with games I was pumped about but there's absolutely nothing on the horizon for the next few months. I would imagine we'll hear a big batch of release dates at E3 next month potentially.

I don't mind.
I still have KH3, Ace Combat 7, and RE2 Remake left to play. I have Judgement and Warhammer ChaosBane in June. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 in July.

Do you think it might have to do with Sony and Microsoft gearing up for their next console releases? I feel like this usually tends to happen near the end of a consoles life cycle.

I completely agree. There more things coming out in June and July that I'll try to get than the rest of September-December.
For the last third of the year, I'm excited for:
Trails in Cold Steel III (September)
Monster Hunter Expansion (September)
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order (November?)
And the star wars game isn't even a guarantee to preorder lol.
ETA: Definitely want to get Doom too, but I'm not sure when that'll actually release.

We are in that console transition year.
