My N64 days were spent playing Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron and Ogre Battle 64. After that, I barely touched it until the GameCube came out.

I have given OOT & Majora a shot on Switch Online but haven't gotten more than a few hours into either.

Just finished Mount Lanayru and everything has been fairly happy and bright.

Won’t go into spoilers but Conde’s story got me tearing up. Jesus

I wasn’t into Zelda at the time of the N64 either. I’ve tried several times to get into those 2 games on both the WiiU online and Switch Online and just can’t find the urge to go more than an hour or two. I’d love to see remakes so we can get past the N64 mechanics and distractingly bad graphics

That's where I am. That Wind Waker & Twilight Princess haven't been made available on the Switch is mystifying.

You're not kidding. I've only known the guy for like 20 minutes and I already feel bad for him.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re saving a combo release for Switch 2. The Switch has been the best Zelda console bar none.

Making echoes of beds has brought an element to this game that I would have never expected. I never think to make smoothies ahead of time, so, during boss fights, I am constantly looking for a place to echo Zelda's bed so that I can get 2-3 hearts before the next attack comes.

There's supposed to be a set of silk pajamas that hastens the heart recovery time, but I don't think I've encountered those yet.

Getting Zelda's bed after clearing Hyrule Castle Rift helps a lot.

SPOILER ALERT STOP READING NOW:

In the hard to reach areas, platform to platform. The ice stacks high. the cloud isn't that great.

But in a few areas especially with steam/air push...

Make the bat and click A quickly to fly with it. The crow, the guy that spin spears and the guy with a shield, and big spinny plant: is my go to quick like.

I have many fairy bottles yet can't recall after collecting one, it automatically saving me?

The water cubes can be helpful to stack up to get vertical. (And to drown unsuspecting mobs when you drag them into).

The PlatBoom cyclops platform & flying tile have been indispensable in the rifts.

Could Dampe be any more cryptic with his requests for those damned automatons?

I got the Lynel echo in the forest. Use darknut blue guy and your strongest fighter and the flame witch.

Go to the church in HC first ask about other things and monsters

Oh hell. I didn't realize there were Lynels. I just finished the Goron rift and have 2 of the Goddess orbs, but being able to whip out a Lynel on demand would be pretty handy

Got the Lynel. Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure if the hoofprints don't spawn unless you talk to the dude in the Northern Chapel about the rumors of a powerful monster, but I know you have to follow them around through the mist (they only show up in dirt patches). Level 3 Darknut took him out.

Finished the game. Had an absolute blast. Never played top down Zelda games before this one but I’m about to go buy the Link’s Awakening remake and play through that.

**Spoilers**

With the appearance of the Great Deku Tree, severs OoT bosses l, the 3 goddesses and the Triforce being called “prime power”, I feel like this is a prequel to Ocarina of Time. I also think the Triforce gets its name from Tri to some degree

Glad you found him it was like running in circles. Like Henry I beat the game to the credits. I don't think I could have w/o Lynel.

My fav part was when Link and Zelda work together. figuring out that switch w/o a spoiler.

Also: The spinning Plant makes a great way to fly from wind gust to wind gust. Click "A" to use him to fly w/ wind.

I enjoyed the play and took my time. Next up Nov. something is an RPG I can't remember. I am still waiting on DQ12, the guy died it was delayed?

Finally got all 3 sanctions but through going back and working on the automaton side quests, I discovered that every major town appears to have additional quests that open up.

I'd like to thank the programmers for making the Great Fairy cute again, and not some drag queen fever dream like they did in BOTW/TOTK.

Yeah, this is definitely showing that you didn't play OoT like you said.
