So what's the best weapon to craft with all my ancient parts? And is the armor worth it?

Most of the Ancient Weapons break easily. Also keep in mind the Master Sword is actually an Ancient Weapon as well to where it's very effective against Guardians. Definitely get a ton of Ancient Arrows since those really come in handy going to Hyrule Castle.

Yeah that's what I was thinking

What about the armor?

The armor is great. Highest defensive rating of all the armors in the game, additional protection from guardians, and if fully-upgraded, adds an attack boost to all ancient weapons.

The ancient bows have a ton of durability, so good to get at least one or two.

The ancient arrows are good if you don't want a fight, but that's half the fun.

Other than that, the weapons aren't very durable outside of the sawblade. If you have the full ancient armor set and it's upgraded, the sawblade can take out most guardians in a couple of spins.

Just got my final fairy fountain and rescued the last Divine beast. I've done 73 shrines, my stamina is max,15 hearts, I'm currently working on getting all armor, upgrading all armor, etc.

I love farming guardians, I take out all of their legs and just circle them like a wolf on the hunt

I use ancient arrows on them, as my go-to weapon for guardians is the Master Sword, and it's a little hard to hit flying guardians with the Master Sword

ETA: If I have Revali's Gale available and don't feel like running around too much, I will Revali's Gale into the air - slow down time, and wallop the flying guardian in the eye and it's dead

If you want to run around, wait for it to shoot a laser, run over to the fire created from the laser and ride the airstream up into the air, do the same thing - it's really fun

In the new Hard Mode? Or your first run?

Saw 3 Wolf Link Amiibos at a GameStop Port Arthur yesterday. They seem to be everywhere since a restock came in last week.

Also picked up a Guardian finally, it was the last Amiibo I needed for the whole Zelda collection(not just BoTW).

This is my first run, this game is amazing, but I don't think I want to play it on hard... I kinda like feeling like I'm a Royal Knight in this game, I don't think I could handle feeling like a Cursed Undead in this game

Damn would have thought you breezed through the game already.

Yes it is great. Hated it at first because of the whole new mechanics situation, but learned to love it. Still think the weapon system needs some tweaking.

I had like 150hrs in the first month. Not record setting but with a job, played every waking hour during my free time. Haven't done that since Witcher 3 and a little bit for Fallout 4.

Is there anything in particular I should do after releasing the four divine beasts before I go to Hyrule Castle? Anything new quests become available?

I did all 120 shrines and as many side quests. Never wanted the game to end and beating Ganon made me not exactly go back to the game as much.

Without being specific and spoiling the ending, but is the game world still open after Ganon? Are there still enemies?

I wish you had to activate the divine powers.

It drives me nuts that I just want to charge and attack lower enemies with my sword but it means wasting my lightening.

You can enable and disable them but yeah its not enough. Wish it was a different button press.

I disable 2 out of the 4 because they are annoying sometimes.

nah, I didn't get the Switch until early June (Memorial Day Weekend) - got 3 Stars on Mario Kart and played Minecraft a lot, all the while already putting 85 Hours into Persona 5 starting just before I bought the Switch.

But - I had 13 Hearts (0 Stamina) and 2 Divine Beast when I pulled the Master Sword out of the stone 7 days ago, if that tells you have quickly I got engrossed into this game.

ETA: Down to 1.5k Rupees... time to snow bowl

If you beat Ganon, you just start the game back before you enter the Sanctum where you face him. Pretty much like every other Zelda game.

Armor as well. I'd encourage everyone to not upgrade their armor past Level 2, because Level 3 and 4 make the game a cakewalk. In the sequel, it needs to reduce it by percentage and not hit points. Silver Lynels didn't stand a chance against me at the end, when they would scare the shite out of you early on.

I'd say explore Hyrule Castle, but don't defeat Ganon until you complete the Main Quest, like getting all the Memories and the Master Sword.

Totally agree. They have some really nice items in there too.

I wish Hyrule castle was a lot larger. Exploring those rooms for the first time was awesome!
