Every time I see a video its the same ones:

There are a lot of those.

They differ by color . Red blue black white and get upgraded weapons.

But there are more enemies than just those. Lizalfos also everywhere

Without scrolling thru 50+ pages and avoiding spoilers, does anyone have a tip or two to defeating a Lynel centaur? Specifically the red mane one? I've gotten close a few times but I cant seem to keep up.

Re: lynels idk I run away when I enter their territory. improved statis and running around a rock so he can't pelt you with arrows may help.

Fairies, meals to revive and replenish

You have to time your dodges and unload on him while he's vulnerable. Arrows to the face will stun them.

Also depends on what your armor and weapons are. It may be that you're just not ready

My strategy has been pretty consistent. I try to find higher ground to glide in on, then send a few arrows into his head on the flight in to knock him to the ground. I try to land as close as possible and do the wind up attack with a two-handed weapon for as many hits as possible. If that's not enough to kill them, they'll usually be at least halfway dead. From there on, I stick to trying to get the timing down in dodging for the counter-attack, and another few arrows to the head if he gets his distance for ranged attacks. Also, stasis+ helps if you're up close and he's mid attack.

You have to get close to lynels because you won't wear them down from a distance and their arrows can get you on top of mountains (seriously I've had them shoot up and over and nail me)

They'll also close distance on you in a flash if they want to anyway. So save the time the arrows and the hearts and just get up close. Supposedly you can mount them and just swing away at their neck until they throw you

Thanks all. I haven't upgraded my stasis yet so I need to go find 1 more core and do that.

I've actually been able to distinguish between enemy colors. I'm color blind as frick so they did a good job.

Yeah I'd say I was 50 hours into the game when I upgraded stasis which is available to you within 10

Could've really helped in some fights

There's a white mane lynel in the gerudo highlands or actually past it but on one of the mountain tops that sports a giant axe and even when you dodge it shocks you.

He's the hardest enemy in the game, period.

It doesn't necessarily make them easy, but if you headshot them with an arrow it stuns them. Then run up to their sides and you can mount them like a horse. Attack until they throw you off and try to repeat. The problem is once I've done that to them, they typically do the jumping smash attack right on top of me and you need some distance to line up a headshot. They, of course, are also shooting their own arrows while you are trying to do this.

I'd still go into the fight with some fairies and some food with damage up perks.

I'm trying to avoid this thread and other spoilers, but this is bothering me, probably because it's so different...

Note: I have no problem with the weapon durability....

However, I don't know how rare some of these weapons are and if I should "save" them. I've only beaten one divine beast, but have in my possession:

Edge of Duality, Great Frostblade, Thunderblade, and a few other more rare things. I try to find Broadswords mostly to keep using, but have avoided using those specially named blades.

I know I can repair Mipha's Staff, which I also have, so that one doesn't bother me too much. But:

1) Should I be saving things like the Thunderblade and Great Frostblade for special purposes?
2) Are there more of those in the game if not?

One got me this way. I got up on a ledge and was throwing every arrow I had at him. Hitting him pretty consistently. All of the sudden he turns around and starts flinging them with a trajectory to land right now me. LOL.

just use them on blight ganons or lynels IMO.

I doubt there will be a point later in the game where you absolutely need that flameblade and nothing else will work .

I mainly use them for cosmetic appeal when walking through a town.

or If I am in a cold weather area, pull out a flameblade. Hot area, pull out the frost blade. they help regulate temperature.

well I guess using the frostblade to climb death mountain would be ideal.

If you use an ancient arrow against a lynel, they disappear into a void. Only problem is that it takes everything he had on him with him.

On a side note, everyone go to Zora's Domain and sleep on the blissful water bed The transition screen goes black and Link sounds like he's having hard core sex
