No defense here, but I find all the perfect scores just as suspicious as over 5000 reviews within a day of a game that supposedly has over 20 hours of game play.
I'm going to see what people here think. Pretty sure both sides of this on those sites are inflated to the point of uselessness.

From what I've read it only takes about an hour for the game to piss you off.
Spoilers(Is that necessary in this thread?)
Apparently Joel and his brother just walk up to Abby's group and introduce themselves to them. No caution or anything. Completely contradicting how Joel acted in the entire first game. Then he says "sounds like y'all have heard of me".
The camera turns to Abby and she says "They have" and shoots him in the leg with a shotgun.

The gameplay is good. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous. I don't even have a problem with doing what they did so early in the game. It was just such a dumb way to do it. Seems like they put zero consideration into such an important part.
Right now I would probably rate it like 7/10. Not bad but a pretty steep drop off from the first one. Granted I am still really early in the game so not sure how that will change.

No one plays Last of Us for fricken gameplay and graphics. Story is trash therefore this game is trash. I’d give negative if I could.

I donno about you....but Joel is a pretty big deal to me and that story. What they did was stupid and dirty..everything else can go frick itself.

Like why not wait to kill him in the end with a decent plot? Then make a part 3 where Ellie goes scorched earth motherfricker?
